What cookies are

Why we use them
We use them to run and protect the website and its enquiry forms, to remember your language and your cookie choices and, only if you allow it, to enable optional features supplied by third parties.
Categories
- Strictly necessary: needed for the website, its security and forms, your language choice and storing your cookie choices. They do not need your consent and cannot be switched off in our tool.
- Functional: enable optional features supplied by third parties. Off until you allow them.
- Analytics and performance: show how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Not used at present; if introduced, they will stay off until you allow them.
- Advertising and targeting: not used at present; if ever introduced, they will stay off until you allow them.
What we currently use
Turkish Cables does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. The technologies in use are:

To suggest the right language on your first visit, a short script reads your browser’s language and time-zone settings on your device. This information is not stored or sent to us. Our enquiry forms are protected against spam without cookies; the server uses your IP address briefly for this, as explained in our Privacy policy.
If we add analytics or other optional tools, we will update this table first, and these tools will not run until you allow their category.
First-party and third-party technologies
First-party cookies are set by turkishcables.com. Third-party technologies come from providers such as those listed above, which have their own privacy practices that we do not control.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional technologies, reject non-essential ones or manage your preferences by category. Rejecting optional technologies does not stop you from using the website, the cable library or our enquiry forms. You can change your mind at any time:

Consent record
We store your choice, its date and the version of our consent model in your browser so that we do not ask again on every page. If the model changes materially, we will ask again.
